Cessna Loses Another Prototype Skycatcher

Cessna's desires to enter into the Light Sport Aviation arena, appear to have had yet another setback after the 2nd of its prototypes was lost in El Dorado, during recent testing.

The first prototype was completely destroyed in September 2008, after the test pilot lost control and could not recover the aircraft from a spin during a test flight. Fortunately the pilot bailed out and was unharmed in the incident.

Change to our Blog Site

To those who may be initiated in web technologies may have recognised that our Blog Site at microlightwings.com/blog is a Wordpress blog which we host on our own servers. In recent days we have set up our new blogging system as a direct part of our main site. This will hopefully prove advantageous to all our guests and registered members as well as ourselves for managing and posting to our Blog. For the time being our old Blog will still remain active for the next few weeks as we transfer feeds and posts across to the new system. We have kept a link on the main site menu.

See you on the inside!

We hope you had a great break over the festive season?

Our new main site and blog is now taking shape. We have spent a long time getting the look and feel just how we wanted it and more importantly, how we feel you; our visitors and potential members will want it. We will soon be adding some areas to obtain your feedback and once the framework has been completed and we fully go live, we are convinced you'll be back to visit time and time again.
In the meantime thanks for your support and best wishes for 2009
